Cook Up Some Happiness!

If you're bored, feeling down or just wish to be happier (or make someone else happier), go to Yummly!
Refine your search (low salt, no meat, for example) and then search for a recipe!
I always love cooking, especially when I cook for others. The feeling of making something for someone else is so wonderful! Another reason I love cooking to so because I know where my food is coming from. I can control what is in my food and, of course, homemade food always tastes better.
Here is one of my favorite recipes: croutons. I love trying out new techniques and seasonings!

Here is one of my favorite vegetarian recipes. I can't remember the title of the book that I first got it from, but here's my version:

Bean Salad

INGREDIENTS:

Balsamic Vinegar (or balsamic vinaigrette salad dressing)
Olive oil
Canned Beans (2-3 different kinds of beans taste best)

INSTRUCTIONS:
Open up your cans of beans. Drain them and add them to big bowl.
Get a smaller bowl out. Put in a teaspoon full of olive oil. Put in a half of a teaspoon of balsamic vinegar in the bowl too. Mix it. Try a little and figure out how much more oil and balsamic vinegar you need. It's up to you how much of the dressing to make too.
Then, when you have the perfect combination, mix it all together with the beans. Serve and enjoy!
