I've decided to start writing some non-fiction stuff, too. I started writing a book yesterday about pitbulls and why lots of people fear them (and why people shouldn't!) I'm really getting into it! I've learned a lot of stuff about pitbulls while researching.
Okay, here's a really stupid fact: you can have a tiger (a wild animal that belongs in the wild), but not a pitbull (a domestic animal that belongs in a home). The more facts I read about banning pitbulls makes me angrier and angrier. But it also makes me feel compelled to keep writing my book.
It covers a lot of topics (caring for a pitbull, adopting a pitbull, how pitbulls got a bad rep, how pitbulls aren't the only dogs that are bullied)--lots of different stuff!
It helps writing about dogs when you've read a BUNCH of dog books!
I can't wait until it's finished!
